"Kate's Dirty Sister" (KDS)

It's second time in a month that I'm losing my "approved" status on Jalopnik's FP articles.
Both times, it was after questioning another wildly enthusiastic Jalopnik's Volvo article.
So the pro tip is :
For un-approved commenter:
Look for these Volvo articles and add another layer of enthusiasm. They will like that.
For approved commenters :
If you don't agree, stay away form anything Volvo on this site.

Hey, at least it's Volvo and not Honda or Toyota or something.

You can say vile things about Honda, Acura, BMW, pretty much any automakers , it's actually encouraged, they do it themselves.
Just don't fuck with Volvo (and mazda)

I didn't realize that Jalopnik was in bed with Volvo. Interesting to note.
Kind of amusing that you've been busted down twice already. I'm still waiting to be ungreyed the first time since those ass goblins screwed it up for everyone.

Oh, you've mistaken me for someone who frequents Jalopnik. After they grayed me on every Kinja site I stopped going to the places I wasn't approved.
Way to attract those advertising dollars, Gawker.

Exactly. I don't even bother with Jalopnik anymore because no one sees my comments anyway!

Volvo posted no less than 5 or 6 "sponsored" articles on the FP.
Jalopnik made a bigger story of the new XC90 (a FWD-car based crossover with no off road capabilities, self-driving tech, full of assist, hybrid.. the kind of things they really like usually) than of the new Miata. Food for thoughts.
Volvo sponsored their film festival
And now, if you question their integrating after a raving Volvo article, you get grey-zoned
okay, but l o l

If you do it dickishly it is. When they disclose that this was a free trip with goodies at the start of the article like so:
(Full Disclosure: Volvo flew me to Gothenburg, put me up in a very nice glass tower, gave me food five times a day and even offered spa options. I needed that, because it gets dark very early around there.)
and you respond with:
Maybe you should add a sponsorship disclaimer at the top, last thing you want is to have your journalistic integrity questioned.
you shouldn't be surprised when they decide to grey you.
Speak out against the FP and sponsored posts all you want, but don't expect a pat on the back when you voice your displeasure the way you do.

I think that was far from disrespectful. Far less than Hardigree calling people Fuckin' Morons on the morning shift.

Your tone throughout FP articles is pretty caustic.
It is definitely not how I would phrase it, but you do have to be pretty stupid to buy something close to 6 figures because of it's fuel economy, given that you could get an efficient gas/diesel car and run it for years on the difference.

No, it just depend compared to what.
You may be in the market for a car of this price and still want to save on fuel, because there's absolutely no ROI on buying gasoline. A pure loss, people good with money tend to understand that.
Hardigree made an uninformed generalization that is unfortunately popular among his followers.
